********* and dishonest staff, Pathetic service!

Pathetic service, ********* staff especially the area manager. I reserved shoes telephonically at yde Mall of Africa after not getting my size at gateway and the shoes were purchased successfully on the 11th of December 2020, when I tried on the shoes I realised its not the platform heel I wanted. Yesterday I went to yde at the Pavilion mall in Durban to return the shoes and I was told I could only get a gift card in return as I did not have the receipt. The shoes were purchased with a bank card and I had a my bank statement and showed them the transaction on the bank statement, the shoes were never worn, price tag still intact plus a bank statement to provide confirmation that I purchased the shoes. I was assisted by Nosihle the manager and Lungelo at the store who went around in circles saying that they can't assist me the most they can do is give me a store gift card worth the total purchase of the shoes I refused and I insisted that they contact Mall of Africa and get the copy of the receipt the store retains, they did that and got the stores copy receipt, this was emailed to them immediately, I was then told to wait for the area manager who wanted to talk to me with regards to my case, she arrived I have never met such an ********* person, she said they needed the original customers receipt to give me a refund, I asked her what purpose will it serve as they have already got ahold of the store receipt and they have confirmation of the purchase, over and above I had my bank card and bank statement with the details of the transaction, I have never met such dishonest and ********* people they kept on giving me excuses which made no sense. Lastly I requested that they give the a copy of the receipt that they got from mall of Africa and they refused to prove again how dishonest they are. I will never purchase anything from this store ever again, they have lost me and my family as a customer. I want nothing to do with them!
