Security hit my 5 year old daughter
I was in YDE (Tygervalley) last night ie. 05/08/2015 around 18:24pm. While browsing through the clothes my daughter was admiring the costume jewellery. Next minute she runs over to me crying and said the lady hit her on her hand.
So i asked her to show me who the lady is, so it turned out to be the security.

It was totally unacceptable that she lifted her hands for my daughter for touching the costume jewellery.
That is a form of assault.
Then when i went to tell the manager she just looked at me...not even an apology.

14 Aug 2015, 13:16Hello zarahp,
We were truly concerned to read about the incident that occurred at our YDE store as the service you have described is completely deplorable. We immediately contacted the Area Manager of the store, to investigate this matter.
Whilst we acknowledge that all security guards are employed by an independent contractor to YDE, they are mandated to uphold the international service standards which we expect from all staff as well as our affiliates.
To this end, we can assure you that the Area Manager has brought this matter to the attention of the relevant security company and the necessary corrective action will be taken by them.
We believe that the Area Manager has contacted you to inform you of this and has also apologised to you for the incident.
We trust that we were able to acceptably attend to your query and once again wish to apologise for to you and your daughter for the incident.
Yours sincerely,
Lynn
