Lack of ability to be a Manager and bad attitude

Once a year Yde has the R120 sale. After standing in the cue for the fitting room for 30min and then another hour in the cue to pay. I was helped by a friendly cashier. She was accompanied by a co-worker, between them and my clothes one of them seemed to have dropped the pair of earrings and it was not put in the bag. As I got home (which is quite a distance from Yde, as I am living in Stellenbosch) I realised the earrings was not there. After calling the manager answering the phone in an unprofessional manner, I told her the earrings were not in the bag. After ensuring her it was not in the bag she told me I should come and fetch it. I then had to drive all the way back to Tygervally, once there and after I requested to see the manager, she just said sorry for the inconvenience. She said that I need to understand that they are under a lot of pressure due to the sale. I then said they should be more prepared, she assured me with an extremely bad attitude that they are prepared. All that she had to say was sorry and that is not good enough, and worst of all was the service I received from the so called manager. I am a loyal customer but Yde won't be seeing me again. So disappointed.
