***********, excuse of a manager.
I bought a dress for my sister at yde clearwater last weekend and when I got home it didn't fit her. I went to yde cresta today to either exchange or return it. I couldn't find anything else therefore I opted for a refund. The guy at the till tried to convince me to rather get something else than a refund. I told him there wasn't anything I liked. Next thing he went on about how he didn't have cash and asked the lady by the next till who also said she didn't have any cash. He then started helping another customer and said the lady would help me as she had cash. While she was busy processing it I was then called to the storeroom by a different guy. The manager apparently, Nhlanhla. He told me how my dress smelled of soap and how they wouldn't refund me. I was shocked. I asked how I could have washed the dress when the tag was still intact. He said that's easy. It's obvious that I removed the tag nicely, wore the dress and washed it. I felt so insulted. He went on to say I could forget about the refund and I can do whatever I want. He also said maybe clearwater packaging smells of soap and that's not his problem. I never expected such appalling service from yde never mind that I have always been a loyal customer. I can assure you, you have lost a customer and I'm certain you have lost my friends and family too. I want to know if that's how you make sure you don't lose sales? Force a customer to exchange and if they don't come up with such nonsense mxm.
