Dirty Clothing
I like Yde as they have very unique beautiful items. However lately it seems that if you do not purchase an item with holes or bad stitching you purchase items with make up stains/oil stains. I needed a dress urgently, i found a lovely dress which was too small, i asked the shop assistant to find my size for me, she noticed that my size was in fact in-store however it was in a box at the back. thank you for that. unfortunately when i did put the dress on it was so dirty and stinky and it had sour milk stains at the bottom. i could not wear this dress. What is upsetting is the fact that it was purchased to be worn and when i needed to put it on it was too dirty to do so.

22 Oct 2015, 13:14Hello Maxine Pietersen,
We acknowledge your frustration and wish to convey our sincerest apologies for any your experience in this regard.
We were truly concerned to read of the condition of the garments you have purchased and deemed it necessary to bring your concerns to the attention of the relevant Store Manager.
We were informed that the incorrect procedure was followed by the consultant mentioned in your post as garments are meant to be inspected prior to them being sold to customers. The manager has address this with the consultant involved and will take this as an opportunity to remind all staff of the importance of following the correct procedures.
We believe that the Store Manager has contacted you to apologize for your experience. We were informed that you had already washed the garment; however the manager has agreed to do an exchange should the garment still be in an unsuitable condition.
We can assure you that this matter will be addressed in earnest as to ensure that our high service standards are upheld at all times.
Please feel free to contact us on *** or via email on *** should you have any further enquiries.
Yours sincerely,
Lynn
