Can't return dress
On 15th of June 2015 I bought two dresses at YDE in Greenacres, one was for my daughter who's matric farewell is the 21st Aug. Unfortunatelly she did not like dress. I'm staying in George and there is no YDE store close to me. 3 weeks ago my one daughter visited me from PE and I asked her to return dress as the price tag was still in tacked and we not going to use the dress.

The manageress didn't want to exchange the dress because according to her she can't send the dress back to the supplier because she has new stock in her store. I feel very unhappy because the dress was not even worn yet and I couldn't return it earlier as I am staying in George, like I mentioned already.

Any advice please.
Thank you for your post and for informing us of your concerns.
At YDE, we allow ordinary returns or exchanges within 14 days of purchase provided that the original invoice or gift receipt is presented as proof of purchase and all the other requirements of this policy is met.
As the garment was returned after the allocated 14 day returns period, it did not fully comply with our returns policy and you were correctly advised that the return could unfortunately not be authorized.
Whilst we acknowledge your frustration regarding this matter, we cannot compromise on this policy as our staff is expected to adhere to our policies and procedures at all times.
In addition, we sincerely hope that you will understand our stance in this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Chevola
