Staff morale

In relation to the Xpresso Cafe based on the campus of Wits University. Although the products are ok, the serving staff make one reluctant to return. I have now been there on numerous occasions, when very busy and not so busy, and sadly on all these occasions the staff have looked miserable and are not very friendly. I know jobs are scarce and one obviously accepts employment where found, even when you are not suited for the customer service industry, especially in today's times, however management should consider ways to inspire and motivate their staff in order to perform more pleasantly.
