Horrible service, slow communication, run around to refund, utterly unprofessional customer service

Please people STAY AWAY from World Remit. They may appear to be cheap but when they hold your funds for one or two reasons be assured of the following; communication is VERY SLOW, run around to get a refund, they will keep on requesting your bank statement again and again but nothing done. I sent money to Zimbabwe on the 27th May 2021 (I was sending to myself since i was traveling there). They cancelled the transaction on the 28th May 2021 citing that one cannot send money to themselves (mind you i had seen this option on their facebook and website). I have been requesting a refund since then and sent them my documents 6 times already but each time they send me an email saying "we have not heard from you so we closing your file". It is better to utilize other services which may appear a bit expensive but are proffesional.
