Poor service delivery

I do not even know where to start, my experience has to be one of the worst ever. 2020 my son was involved in a terrible car accident which almost claimed his life, his attending doctor had to write a letter to the institution where he had registered that due to the accident he would not be able to write his exams. I made workmens Compensation aware of this terrible incident and since then my son has not been receiving funds due to him as he is still studying (as per the workmens terms and conditions). I have been taken from pillar to post, with different documents being requested including his " then progress report" which the doctor had already mentioned that due to my son's condition at the time, he would not be able to write exams. The doctor had even mentioned that he could be contacted should any further details be required. At the time of accident my son was registered with an Institution and even now he is still studying. It is just so unfortunate that he was involved in a near death accident. I do not think anyone knows the struggles I have been going through seeing to it that my son gets to study even though financially I have been wronged.

Claim for IOD

I am trying to register an IOD claim and register with compeasy. I must have sent 50 emails and for the last week the emails are not even been delivered. How is this possible when all emails sent to the call centre, enquiries and complaints are not been delivered.

Still waiting for a claim number for an IOD. 4 months and counting

They say you can list an IOD through the website *** but its been 4 months and i still didn't recive a claim number. Their turn around time is 2 weeks to a month. I have an escalation number as well but no claim number is impossinle to source through their call centre. I made around 8 calls during this time. No senior ever called back as was promised. What a joke. I'm about to get black listed for non payment to service providers. Waste of tax payers money

Workmen's Compensation fund (WCA)

This was the worst experience I have experienced. No communication and no reply on emails. These guys don't have any customer experience at all.I have send numerous emails to Sakuthini Motsobole *** and the answers that this guy gives was just pathetic. No sympathy, no communication. That is the type of service that we receive from our public servants.Unacceptable.Service rates out of ten,non existent.

Systems at compensation down for 3 months with no resolve

I have been following up on a benefit for my son, whose father passed away two months ago. Despite the fact that my child is still studying, the payments have stopped. The call centre insists that I must prove I am alive, yet after numerous calls the system remains non-functional. The representative in Durban has been blunt and unhelpful, and this marks the third month of reaching out with no resolution. Why should we continue paying into Workman’s Compensation when they are clearly unequipped to assist? We pay our taxes, yet government departments seem to become increasingly ineffective.
