2023_Non Stop Hardware Problems
2023 Has been the worse year to order from Wootware Computers.
I have been buying from Wootware for over 5 Years with no problems, However in 2023 I have received problematic components from them Over and Over, New Aorus B660M Pro DDR4 MOBO 3.5mm Jack Port had corrosion, New Seagate 12TB External Drive Broken all within 1 week of purchase.
I have never been so frustrated and annoyed with a PC company suppling problematic components to me, Whomever their supplier is, is only letting them down and letting me down and in turn letting my clients down.
After more than 5 years of purchasing from them I would NOT RECCOMEND purchasing from them anymore. This has been the worse Experience to the start of 2023 for myself and my Clients.
Going to start supporting other companies from here on out.

While we aim to always ship items that are working 100%, there will be instances where hardware is faulty out of the box. The parts that we sell are procured from the major local distributors for those brands who we have been working with for many years, so it should not be the case that we are getting any subpar products.
We did get your motherboard back for testing and could not reproduce the issue that you were experiencing through multiple days of testing. Our team did not notice any corrosion on the board when it was with us, and the corrosion was not brought up in any of our email correspondence with you.
Our technical team has been in touch regarding the hard drive, and we would like to get it back for testing so that we can have a replacement or refund issued as soon as possible.
Once again we would like to offer our apologies for any inconvenience that may have been caused. We completely understand how frustrating it can be when goods are not working as expected and we will be doing everything that we can to assist you.

22 Mar 2023, 14:49As I've mentioned there was no corrosion on the board, however there was within the 3.5mm jack port on the rear IO.
The testing was only done over a one day period not Multiple days as you suggest here.
I am still not 100% certain that support used a microphone with 3.5mm jack and rather used a microphone with a USB as I mentioned to them that usb mic works fine, however 3 different 3.5mm jack microphones had the same issue on that board.
After receiving the board back from testing I took it to a local sound expert which deals with car and home audio, he mentioned that there was some sort of corrosive substance inside the port and after it was cleaned out then all was well and working fine.
For the 12TB HDD, it was working fine for 3 days then on the 4th Day it stopped appearing on the Mac Air so I took it to the Desktop PC to only see it cannot be accessed anymore and same for the Mac, it was no appearing at all.
We will see how the testing goes next week and Monday once you have the 12TB HDD, I truly would like a replacement or a full refund as that HDD cost just under R5000.
Imagine I put the photography company's picture's on the 12TB HDD and then formatted all their smaller 2-4 TB HDDs just to have the 12TB stop working, that would of been the biggest disaster for myself and my Client, luckily it did not have to come to that point but It would of been over 250 000 Pictures Lost if it happened 2 - 3 days later. I dont even want to begin to imagine what I would say or do.
I personally recommended you to my client, I personally told them it should be hassle free but clearly everything I said was the opposite of that.
