Woodford Car Hire - Renault Kwid

The car, a Renault Kwid 1.0, did not provide a happy driving experience. It is very rough. While I do not expect a Rolls Royce experience at Beetle prices, this car was unpleasant to drive.

The screen required an authentication code to access it. This was not provided to us and we did not have access to this during our rental, although it was raised at pick-up.

There appeared to be something wrong with refuelling, as I tried to refuel before return and the tank would not accept more fuel even though I knew that the tank was not full. It appeared to stop at about the half mark, per the dashboard gauge. This could have been a big inconvenience if I was attempting a longer trip. When I received my final bill, I saw that 17.5l had been added after my return. While I accept that extra fuel was required, I was unable to refuel further. The 17.5l + the 5l that I was able to add, resulted in a fuel consumption of some 11l/100km. This is unlikely for a vehicle of this size.

I therefore dispute the amount of fuel loaded and am exceedingly unhappy about this matter.

Overall, the experience was less than satisfactory.
