WOODFORD CAR HIRE IS EXPENSIVE

Do not be fooled by the cheap prices that Foodford car hire advertise. Their insurance option does not cover tyres, and if you hit a pothole (which is highly likely in SA) they will double charge you on the repair. I went to 4 tyre repair shops in the same area and none quoted me more than R 2500 incl VAT for the total repair. I was charged at R 5 440 by Woodford and it took me three months of follow ups to actually get the detailed invoice. They just deducted the money from my bank account without sending an invoice. Admin staff not very helpful and no concern as to the high cost for a small little tyre of a KIA RIO. The repair is costing me more than the holiday.
