Woodford Car Hire cheats on damages like crazy!
When I returned my car after a month rental with Woodford Springfield branch there were some damages to the vehicle of which I was totally aware off. I damaged the front bumper of a VE pilo when I drove over a piece of truck tyre on the highway. Woodford claims that o attempted to fix the car myself which is a false accusation. They are charging me a double weaver for no reason which comes to an amount of R34000 which is absolutely absurd as the entire cost of a new number from VW is only R4650. So yes they are definitely cheating the public and if I had money I would sew them but my only hope was Hello Peter and I hope the public think many times before renting a car from Woodford Car Hite

I do appreciate your feedback, however, this matter has been carefully investigated and addressed with senior management. As per your above statement, you have taken full responsibility for the damages caused on the vehicle.
What you have not mentioned is the fact that the damages which are inflicted on the vehicle is extremely horrific. Not only were there damages to the exterior but the damage inflicted on the interior is just as bad.
The unfortunate part of this situation is that I cannot publicly upload these pictures which can prove that these damages warrant the charges deducted. Furthermore, you proceeded in *******ly getting the vehicle fixed which is in total breach of the contract between yourself and Woodford especially based on the fact that the vehicle does not belong to you.
You have publicly addressed your issues , however, there is various aspects you have not made mention of.
Please kindly note that failure to comply with making payment on the vehicle you have damaged and being in breach of your contract, we have no choice but to take legal action in this regard.
Our legal department will be in touch with you pertaining to the above.
