Unreliable - guaranteed car models not delivered

We booked a guaranteed car model - Mercedes c class and had prepaid our 14 day booking. When we arrived at cpt airport to collect the car (after traveling for 20 hours), we were told there were no Mercedes and we would have a Toyota Corolla for one day until the Mercedes came back at which point they would deliver it to us. We left with the corolla and never heard from them again... until we followed up 36 hours later, 3 times before finally tracking someone down who could find the right car for us. It was delivered two days later than originally promised.

When we challenged them, they said the alternative was to cancel the booking. Well it was the tennis in Cape Town so everything was booked up, making this not an option.

We weren’t the only ones This happened to - there were two other groups collecting at the same time as us and they had the same issue.

Very unreliable service.
