Unfair Claim by Woodford for a 75mmx2mm paint scratch at the bottom of Drivers door

Woodford car rental is holding me liable for a scratch at the bottom of the drivers door in an area where any rubble on the road can scratch the paint. In this case I travelled on the N12 to Khutala Mine in Oggies and the condition of the N12 which I used to get to the mine is very poor with truck Tyre retread casings on the road, and traffic diversions due to road repairs. In view of South African road conditions, I opted to pay for all the optional covers, and now Woodford wants me to pay for a small scratch which is impossible to avoid. I would advise anyone wanting to use Woodford to think twice, do not think that by opting to take all the insurance covers being offered by Woodford that you are covered for the unforeseen, in my case a 75mm long 2mm scratch on the bottom section of the driver's front door.
