Underwhelmed

My second rental with Woodford. My main gripe with the first rental was that the vehicle selected didn’t match what was provided. BMW 320 was in fact the lowest spec 318. With my second rental noted that the c class Mercedes was advertised as the latest 2022 model but pictures show the previous generation model. I ended up renting a Haval. An unknown additional fee of R132 added onto final bill. The car made squealing nosies at the time that the car was manoeuvred out of a tight parking spot by an assistant. This noise continued throughout the rental period and mostly at start up. I reported this on WA the next day, but I didn’t get a response. It is the lowest spec version and considering its low purchase price it should be priced accordingly and not approaching the rental price of more premium vehicles. No fault of Woodford, but the fuel consumption is frankly shocking , reaching 14 l / 100 km in town driving.
