!!! Terrible Service and Horrible Attitude!!! My Wedding Shoot Holiday was Destroyed!!!!!

My boyfriend and I planned to go to CPT for our wedding photography, considered we will be carrying a lot of stuff for the shoot/photography, like big bouquets, a lot of balloons, outfits for changing during the shoot, we booked a Hyundai Tucson(SUV) through WOODFORD CAR HIRE which has the extra space for the carrying stuff and we can also change outfit inside the car more comfortable.

12/02/2018: Once we arrived Cape Town Airport and were going to collect the Hyundai Tucson we ordered and paid online, the staff at WOODFORD CAR HIRE CPT BRANCH told us, they don't have any Tucson available at the moment and not any other kind of SUVs, we were given a BMW 318i which is a sports type sedan(even more squeezing than the normal sedan ). I told the gentleman this is unacceptable, I planned this trip for months and I already ordered the bouquets and balloons that need to be collected later and the BM cannot carry. He advised there will be a Tucson return to CPT BRANCH the next day morning and he will do a car swap at wherever we stayed in CPT. We have no choice but accepted the result, as our shoot only start later in the afternoon of the next day and the gentleman promise to swap early in the morning, we left our Airbnb address and took the BM.

13/02/2018: In the following day morning, no one contacted us, we called their office and the staff said he is not aware of what we are talking about and we must call later once the same guy who assisted us yesterday came to work. We called again in the early afternoon, another difference person picked up the call and we told him the story again, he promised to call us back in 10 mins, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED AFTER WE DROPPED THE LINE. As the timeline is very tight, we need to collect the flowers and balloons before the shoot, we drove to the florist and then back home, we drove to the party city for the balloons and then back. It's impossible to carry everything in one trip, we were going backwards and forwards time and time. It wasted us a lot of time and also caused extra mileages and petrol. As the shoot venue is far from where we stayed, it is impossible to go and come back to carry more stuff, we have no choice but left a lot of things back home which we planned perfectly for the shoot. It is our wedding shoot, just once in your life!!!!!

14/02/2017: We have this day free of shoot, so I would like to solve the car problem, I called the office and the guy who answered the phone was in very bad attitude, he said:"The thing is we don't have any other car available, if you want to swap, the only car is a i10!" I was shocked by his attitude and asked for his manager's cellphone number. He gave me Lubens' number also promised his manager will call me back and I never got through to this number afterwards.

15/02/2017: Keep on trying the manager's number and went to the voicemail, no one from WOODFORD CAR HIRE has contacted us on their own initiative.

16/02/2017: We gave up and returned the BM to them, our trip was totally destroyed by WOODFORD CAR HIRE. On this day when we were at the parking bay of WOODFORD CAR HIRE, I SAW A TOYOTA RAV4 OR AVANZA as the car was parked by the end which I could not see it clearly but it is really bigger than the BM we were driving. I don't understand how WOODFORD managed their cars and how they want to treat their customers.

In the 5-days trip in CPT, no one from WOODFORD CAR HIRE contacted us to explain or apologize for the issue and every time we need to call them to find out, we told our story to every different person who picked up the call from their office(I don't know how many times even). We planned our wedding shoot for months and we ordered a Tucson because it is a SUV, we don't care it is a BM or Merc or any other luxury brands, the only thing we need is a SUV with bigger space which bigger than a sedan.

PLEASE DON'T USE WOODFORD CAR HIRE FOR YOUR DREAMING HOLIDAYS AS YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN ONCE YOU ARRIVED. WHEN YOU ARE IN EXTREME MISERY, WOODFORD ACTED LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED!!!
