Stay away from Woodford Car Rentals

They are the worst car rental company ever. Big ********! They pose as the cheapest in the business but they are not. You will pay more than double at the end as they come with all sorts of excuses to take money from their “ customers”. I hired a car in Cape Town and no one inspected the car with me on collection or drop-off. The next thing I get is a bill of R2800 for damages. They sent a pic of a white car no reg number whatsoever showing the damage. I used the car between the hotel and university and caused no damage. They are out there to **** people. My advise is to stay away from Woodford and rent a car from others even if you think the rates are a little high. They also sent me a pic of the car with 7/8 on fuel and charged me for additional. I think it is crazy as I obviously had to drive from where I filled up. Their customer service is appalling and they should do better as there are other players in the sector.
