****** money on my credit card by Woodford

On the 7th of December 2025I rented a car with Woodford and returned it the next day (8th of December 2025)as per our agreement with full tank as well. Few days later I recieved an email closing our agreement with no problems. I also recieved my full deposite on my credit card as well. On the 27th of December, I get a notification Woodford taking money on my credit( it’s a Saturday 17:30) I panicked thinking it’s some kind of **** cause Woodford had no business taking my money. Called the bank cancelle my Credit card. On Monday I went to Woodford to enquire about it. The lady who checked for me, said after I left the car everything was as it should, full tank and no damages to the car.

However, another client took the car after me and might have returned the car without petrol. I don’t understand how that comes back to me but she sent an email and they will get back to me. I’ve been waiting since 29th/30th of December 2025. I’ve sent emails with proof of everything they told me they’re still “Investigating”

I think Woodford purposely ***** people’s money and tell them they’re still investigating the matter to frustrate as I am frustrated to a point where you no longer bother to call them cause that’s what I’ve opted to do. They can keep the damn money. I won’t make a mistake of even going near their business ever again
