Inflated per km Rates

As I have sent a request to the branch but have heard nothing back since Friday aprt from your email requesting me to tell you on HelloPeter... I am telling you on HelloPeter. I have rented a vehicle from Woodford PE Airport. The booking process was fine as were the service at the branch. The vehicle was not ready on time and I only got to leave the branch 30 minutes after the vehicle was scheduled for collection despite being sent an SMS almost 2 hours earlier telling me my vehicle was ready for collection. This is normal though and I accept it as such. What I don't simply accept is the fact that the per km rate of R2.99 is more than double what is charged by others on the same class vehicle. For my last 2 (similar class) rentals I have paid R1.45 and R1.39 as the per km rate after the free km's have passed. What makes this Toyota Etios so special that it runs at more than double the rate? Furthermore - this exorbitant rate was not communicated ANYWHERE in the booking documentation I received via email or on the website. I have enquired on this via email but was not even validated with a response?? Do I not deserve one??
