I called Woodford to inquire about renting a vehicle at OR Tambo and driving into Mozambique. They ensured me that it was perfectly acceptable. I would need to make the reservation and then request a border crossing. Once I had made the reservation and paid a fee, they informed me that they do not allow crossings into Mozambique. As soon as they had received a retention fee they would not deal with the issue. The staff are ***********, they do not answer email and hardly ever answer the phone. Woodford is obviously overwhelmed by customer complaints. Rather use one of the more reputable car hire companies. Woodford is just a headache.
