DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! THEY RENT NON-LEGAL UNREGISTERED VEHICLES TO UNSUSPECTING CLIENTS!!

NO HONESTY, INTEGRITY OR SERVICE DELIVERY

I rented a car from Woodford Car Hire in Cape Town on 10 April 2022. I was stopped by traffic police and given a fine for "Operating a vehicle exempted from licensing" according to the ticket description (I have a copy). It seems Woodford did not properly or correctly register this vehicle which I was provided with. On return of the vehicle to Woodford I made Woodford aware of this fine and later confirmed same by e-mail and received confirmation from them that the matter would be resolved.

Fast forward to the present, I recently attempted to renew my vehicle's license disk and was told that there is a warrant out for my arrest as this fine was never settled. Furthermore I bought a vehicle for my son who is attending university as a first year student this year and I cannot register this vehicle in my name

I have countless e-mails, numbers and names of people I have spoken to and followed up with. They do not care. I have received no feedback apart from being cc'ed in to numerous internal e-mails requesting feedback amongst one another...

Apart from being very frustrated by the poor service, there are some serious, real life financial and legal implications to me here which I have no way of addressing as Woodford is not taking responsibility or making any effort to resolve this
