Great vehicles - King Shaka Durban airport staff are sadly not customer focused!

This rental was a little different from the others...... my welcome in Durban was just wrong! There were three male staff members active in the kiosk when I arrived. 1 was busy with a client. Two others - i presumed one was the senior as he was asked many questions by the other staff - were wandering around like chickens without heads on...... I was told to sit and wait to be served which was fine. Another client who was waiting was called to the counter and assisted. New clients arrived and a female staff member who appeared out of the back office called them to the counter. The "senior" staff member was walking in and out of the kiosk seemingly oblivious of the fact that I was waiting to be served and chose to ignore me even after i stood up and walked towards the counter. He too was not dressed neatly and his "look" was not what I have come to know of Woodford staff! The female staff member then helped me as the credit card presented by the new client who was helped before me did not authorise any expenditure.

On a positive note what is amazing about Woodford is their vehicles are almost all brand new. I was offered a free upgrade which was great and the vehicle had 262km on the clock. Fortunately I returned the car unscathed and I am sure there will be many happy drivers ahead.

In the service industry customer service should be the focus all of the time. Sadly, Woodfords employees working at King Shaka Durban airport on Monday evening 9.10.23 have let the side down. Really unpleasant taste was left in my mouth!
