Good, not so good and ugly
The good: The reservation process and having a WhatsApp were good as was the return of the vehicle. Luciano was very professional in dealing with the incident form and also taking us with our luggage to the terminal building. The hand over of the vehicle was less good - there was a lot of commotion on the lot and no one took the time to explain the vehicle. It was all a bit rushed and chaotic. As I drive a German SUV the car looked fami**** so it was only when I started driving it, that I realised that it is a pretend luxury SUV. I had to google Chery which turns out to be a Chinese make. The model was a grand sounding TIGGO 8 Pro Exec but its features left much to be desired. We were told it had a 360 degree camera system but that only worked intermittently with 2 cameras. The parking sensors were useless and the view from the vehicle quite restricted especially from the rear view mirror. There was a yellow warning triangle on the overly fussy dash display but no way of finding out what it related to. It did not seem to affect the driving. The display showed all 4 tyre pressures and temperatures constantly which is really unnecessary. The ride was smooth and economical and the car was spacious for 3 adults with a large piece of luggage each. I think sat nav should be standard in a "pro exec" model used as a rental but although there was a colour display screen it seemed to only mirror the phone apps. Suggestion: sharpen up the hand over process and only rent out the Chery on request
