Fictitious miscellaneous charges

On 5 May 2015, I made an internet booking to hire a vehicle for 1 day from Woodford car hire.<br> Rental Number KSIA-17712<br> Collected, drove and returned as agreed without incident.<br> A few weeks later I checked my credit card statement and found another charge on my credit card from Woodford Car Hire.<br> When I compared the invoice and the 2 charges on my credit card I realized there was an over charge and put it down to the fuel deposit, which was not refunded.<br> I sent Woodford an email asking for a detailed breakdown including the fuel charge.<br> I got the following reply,<br> <br> \Reference to the two charges below on your account. Please note that amount of R200.00 was an internet booking that was paid on the internet to reserve the vehicle. Additional charge of R255.77 was taken for fuel R85.77 + R40.00 topup fee
