Deposit still not returned.

I hired a vehicle at Woodford Springfield on the 12th January 2024 and returned it on the 16th January 2024 as per agreement. Today is 25th January 2024 seven working days after returning the vehicle, I am yet to receive my holding deposit. Upon enquiry the staff say that its the bank that is not releasing the money, which I find hard believe.
