Charged deposit - waiting for refund

I returned their vehicle and after 2 weeks, still waiting for my deposit. Their site says "Woodford does not hold your deposit. Rather, the financial institution places a hold on the amount until after the vehicle is returned." and "the hold is released by the institution 24 to 48 working hours later. Woodford has no control over this period." Bull****, because they charged R4000 to my credit card. Emails to the branch were not responded to. I called the branch, someone took down my details and never called back. Eventually got into contact with someone from the call centre who had to verify that I was charged the deposit, she then escalated the query to the finance department, but I'm still waiting.
