We booked a Mercedes Benz Vito which we got a really good price on a special that Woodford was running, we paid upfront to secure the booking. When we got to Jhb airport to collect the vehicle, we were told that there were no Vito’s available and we were offered a Kia Carnival that was supposedly the same size as a Vito but had more updated features. When we saw the vehicle I was very upset because it was nothing like the Vito.It was much smaller, although a seven seater , it had no legroom and the boot was so small and would definitely not have enough space for our luggage. We were a family of 8 so needed a larger vehicle. To my surprise there were so many Vito’s parked off in bays there. On enquiring about it , I was told that those vehicles were block booked for corporate hire. I insisted that I wanted what I booked and paid for and evantually got the Vito. Alot of time got wasted and it was a late flight and I had my aunt, who is a cancer patient travelling with me so I was quite upset by their unprofessionalism.
