Willards Express Meyerton bad customer service

I purchased 2 batteries from Willards Express in Meyerton which was fitted by them to my truck . One of the batteries became faulty and as I could not drive the truck there I removed the batteries to have them tested .I was met by the manager Martin who instructed one of the employees to test the batteries . Before the batteries were even tested I was told by the employee that I would not be able to claim for a battery as there were scratch marks on the terminals. I mentioned that the batteries were fitted by Willards and if there were any damage to the battery it was caused by them when they fitted the battery .Martin instructed the employee to first test the battery and mentioned that the terminals did not look bad at all .After 3 days I was contacted by the receptionist to inform me that the batteries were tested and that one of the batteries were faulty as I suspected .I was told again that they could not claim the battery under warranty due to the the scratches on the terminals.I asked to speak to Martin the manager and he informed me that I must try and claim the battery in Vereeniging and that they will not assist me as they will incur a loss .I mentioned that they had not intention to replace the battery under warranty from the moment I walked in the door and expressed my dissatisfaction because the batteries were fitted by them and that the scratches could have been caused by them when fitting the batteries . I am appalled by the poor service and lack of professionalism as there was never an intention to honour the warranty from the start and the suggestion that the damaged was cause by me when the batteries were fitted by Willards themselves .My advice to anyone who purchases from Willards Express in Meyerton is that the warranty expires the minute you walk out the door and That Willards will blame you for a faulty battery in order to avoid honouring the warranty.Very bad customer service
