Willard battery failure

Bought a new Willard battery for my car. Usually they last 4 to 5 years. This one packed in 2 years and 2 months. So 2 months out of warranty. I see many others are experiencing the same thing. This is a bad reflection on Willard batteries. Are they designing their batteries to fail just out of warranty?

Hi John

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience — we completely understand your frustration, especially when a product doesn’t live up to expectations.

Please know that we do not design our products to fail outside of the warranty period. Our batteries go through rigorous quality control and performance testing, but like all automotive components, various factors — including climate, usage patterns, and charging system health — can impact battery lifespan.

We will investigate further and escalate this with the relevant team. Our customer service team will be in touch for further assistance.

 The Willard Batteries Team

Best regards,
