Very diappointed

<p>In March of this year I purchased a 636 Willard battery from Sonny's Midas Motor Spares in Brakpan, when I installed the battery later that afternoon, it was completely discharged. It was a Sunday afternoon, the dealer was closed and I needed my car for work the following day so I put the battery on charge. This seemed to work as the battery performed as it should for about a week, I then noticed that in the mornings the starter was not spinning as it should but once the car was started it performed fine for the rest of the day. About four weeks ago I went to Capetown for two days and left my car at the airport, when I returned the battery was completely discharged.</p> <p>I have been back to the dealer three times now and each time they test the battery and tell me it's ok. Last week I left the battery there for the rep from Willard batteries to test when he came in for his weekly visit, he declared the battery to be in good condition.</p> <p>So now I am sitting with an eight hundred rand "premium" battery that was faulty from day one, which I cannot rely on and cannot exchange.</p> <p>This is the first time I have purchased a Willard battery and the only reason I did is because when i purchased the car it was fitted with one and it performed well and also the supposidly good reputation and reliability of Willard. Needless to say I am very disappointed.</p> <p> </p>
