Poor Service: Willard Batteries Gezina

Good day, I bought a car Battery at Willard Batteries last year October and the policy stated that it has two years warranty. The battery is no longer working and they refuse to replace it under the Warranty. I spoke to a sales person (Juliette) and she said I must send her pictures for them to replace. After seeing the pictures they said that the battery has scratches on the terminals of which it is true because that's where the battery is tied at so scratches are bound to be there (paint loss). Their policy at time of purchase did not say anything about this (paint loss they will not fix) they only updated their policy after the purchase otherwise I wouldn't have bought the battery there. Note, the battery still looks good as new but not working. I am so disappointed about their poor service and failure to resolve the matter because this is not the first time using and exchanging Batteries with Willard Batteries (SABAT battery) under the same conditions(scratches on the terminals). I had a good experience with them in the past and I am suprised on what changed on this current claim.

Good day Willard Team

I received a call from one of your service managers, I'm still not happy with the feedback. The pictures I sent to the sales rep are clear and shows that the battery still looks good as new. As a Batteries company, how do you put a battery in a car? Do you put it without tying or you tie it?. When you tie a battery on the terminals, friction occurs then result in loss of paint and scratches (stricktly on the terminal ends). Which is bound to happen because a battery is not for display but to be used/tied.

If you explained to me during the time of purchase, I wouldn't have bought the battery at your centre but instead went to your competitor. I am so disappointed about your service and can't even put the pictures of the batteries and all supporting documents here as it doesn't allow. It will be advisable to change your warranty from 2 years to 2 months because of your new rules, terminals can't stay the same for two years because of the friction that happens when tying. Thank you for your poor service.
