Highly unhappy Customer

I've sent the following email on the 24th of February to willard batteries without any response. It's highly disappointing that there isn't any proper communication routes.

Good Day

I write this email today very upset and concerned over the service I received from your once authorized dealers of willard batteries, Infinity Batteries.

Here is a short description of my ordeal:

February 2020 I went into infinity batteries to purchase a battery for one of my cats from my collection. An e93 M3 competition. I was assisted by a friendly foreign national who advised me that the best replacement battery is a 658 he suggested there house brand but i insisted on a reputable brand, he then said willard, I took his advice and agreed to buy it, to my surprise they only took cash so I had to go and withdraw and go back to pay and have the battery installed.

I used the vehicle only on weekends and alternate weekends. My first hiccup was 6 months in. A dead swing, I over looked it and got the car started and went on a nice 200km drive to get it charged nicely. Another 2 months later something again, I went into infinity and told then my problem, at the time they said I'm not driving the enough or my alternator isn't charging correctly. I immediately took into bmw to have it checked out and all was fine. I was advised that I must use a trickle charger and then bought a Ctek mxs 5.0 trickle charger. That gave me an extended 3 months or so of no problems.

January 2021, battery stoned. I go back to infinity to complain, get sent back home to get the receipt when they clearly knew who I was and the already few times I went in with issues. I was given a loan battery and advised that they have to keep the battery their for testing and they have to do their tests before any warranty claims, 2 weeks went by and I called to query I was told my battery is charged and I must pick it, I remember the day clearly because it was the funeral of our Pastor and I went in quickly to get it swapped over, my biggest mistake is forgetting to take my receipt back when picking up.

I used the car that day, and then 2 weeks later again it started fine, a month later issues again, I was then admitted in hospital for being covid positive for 2 and a half months and my car was on trickle charger all that time.

Later in the year I went into them again to complain was told that I should have bought their own brand and not Willard because there's to many issues with it, asked for my receipt again I advised that they have it which they denied and I left the battery there to go and check my glove box compartment on my bmw just incase I did take it, doubt they fed me.

I left the battery their and they said that maybe I must just sell it as s**** and take another new one of their now 2 house brands as they don't even do willard now because of all the problems. Fed up and frustrated knowing it's still under warranty I picked up the battery and kept on the boot of my other vehicle, at the salon a couple weeks back I met someone their who owns a battery shop and we got talking about my battery ordeal. He advised that I must bring the battery passed him for an assessment.

Last week I took it to him when I had some free time only for him to tell me my battery is out of warranty because it was ingraved k9 or something of that sort explaining it was manufactured in 2019 September or October, he then showed me another sticker on it saying it's a rotation sticker and infact this battery was never meant to be sold in February because it's rotation was in January.

This all has left me very upset and with a dud of a battery which I know is still under the 25 month warranty from the time I purchased it, I need help, I can not just fork out another couple of thousands on another battery. Please can I get some assistance here. I can send through pictures of my battery and those markings if need be, my battery looks brand new but is absolutely useless to me and has given me tons of issues.

Please help!

Regards Mr S Harry ***
