Exploiting the market where vehicle batteries are concerned

I bought a vehicle at we by cars in November 2019 and found it strange that the vehicle had to be jump started. When we took delivery of the vehicle the same had to be done. The vehicle was fine for about a month and then we took it to battery center and discovered it was a 2019 battery. I charged it and it just lasted about a month as well. I tried calling Willard batteries with no answer. Now with lockdown I finally got someone to answer the phone. I Explained that I bought the vehicle at we buy cars and don't have the invoice of the battery but do have the purchase agreement. They suggested that I take the battery to an approved testing station like Supa quick in kuils river, which I did. There they discovered the battery was indeed a dud. By that time a rep from Willard batteries was sent to investigate the condition of the battery. His conclusion was someone tampered with the battery. If it is a sealed battery how do you tamper with it and they are not upholding the warranty. Now my question begs, how do you tamper with a sealed battery. Now a days these battery companies are charging a hell of a lot of money for a battery that does not lasts it warranty period and I'm disgusted in Willard batteries for not honoring the warranty. We are been done so badly in this country that it's disgusting that we are provided with such bad service from a company that exploits the market with very expensive products that just don't last its warranty period. Shame on you Willard. I will not recommend any of your products just because of your bad customer service. A 2019 battery that did last or evens give us a value for our money even if the vehicle was purchased with that battery. The battery has in my view no obligation to be in a specific vehicle it was purchased for. The battery carries the warranty period.
