Dead Willard Batteries - Manufacturer Defect ??

My car had been standing for a while in December, thus when it had starting problems in January, I figured it was the battery, so i bought a new Willard Battery from Spares Shop in Richards Bay. I took it home and fitted it, the car still did not start. We then thought, that maybe it was the starter, so i had the starter redone. The problem still persisted, and then we suspected the alternator, so that was redone aswell. All along we had charged the battery on my home charger, and then also by my auto electrician. The issue did not resolve. The battery still did not have sufficient power to start the car (often it will just click). we took it back to the spares shop where it was charged overnight and tested, and it came back as faulty. The battery was replaced with another Willard battery which also battled to start the first time. We jumped started it and let it idle to pick up a charge. We used the car for the week, and today, it battled to start, the car swung for about 10 seconds before it started. So tomorrow, hopefully the battery gets replaced with another brand...
