Misleading Deals
I bought a deal ( a couples massage with Lunch/Dinner at Vista Marina Restaurant). On Saturday, 16 March 2019 we went to the restaurant and it was closed (without being informed or reason). It took a while for me to get into contact with the restaurant. I tried Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Emails and Telephone Calls. Eventually on Monday, I received an email from the restaurant stating: Good Morning Talitha Our apologies for the silence. There has been an emergency at Vista Marina and have not (still not) able to enter – as soon as we can get in and resume normal operations you will be contacted by a member of the team. Kind Regards The Team
In the interim, I contact Wikideals to inform them about my experience and was assured that, Vista Marina will be trading for three weeks only.
On Thursday, 21 March 2019, I received another email from the restaurant stating : Good Morning It is with a very sad heart I need to inform you that Vista Marina Restaurant will not be re-opening and will be going into Liquidation. Please contact Wikki Deals directly for a refund on your vouchers. Kind Regards The Vista Team
I am beyond furious, because what was meant to be a memorable occasion for my husband and I, resulted in a mess.
I am disappointed in the "deal" i received and would like for my voucher of the restaurant portion to be refunded or to be issued with another voucher, with a similar deal. My advice to consumers is: Before purchasing a Wikideals, first check whether the vendor is completely operational!
