Whats App with the unsecure / unsafe App that someone can use my account?

What a shock I received after my account has been hacked for two days....not giving out any information to whom or whatsoever...all of a sudden I started receiving one time pins without requesting them....as I tried to open my whatsapp it became clear I could not open my what's app at all...it kept on saying you have requested too many times while I have not even had the need to request a new OTP...

I have reported it to Whatsapp and requested them to phone me back as hackers are using my account but I cannot even access it myself...they keep on replying with automated messages that does not help or solve my problem. If they can phone me on my cellphone number +***4 I can explain to them that my account has been hacked....without me handing out any information. But they keep on sending useless automated information that does not help me at all.

What's App offers messages are end to end encrypted and accounts that should be secure but yet someone accessed via their wicked hacking ways.
