Account blocked for switching numbers

I switched to my new phone and new cell number. I have gotten 3 temporary blocks and now "This account can no longer use WhatsApp due to spam" I have not spammed anyone. I messages my existing contacts, in my existing chats, to let them know I'm now using my new number. Today I got the final block for messaging my favourite radio station. I message them almost every day for their competitions. This is super inconvenient, and it's getting ridiculous. Now I can't keep in touch with people or use my WhatsApp for work, because it claims spam. I'm livid.
