USELESS

I have Insurance on my Audi. I took roadside assistance through Westwood through Renasa. Last week I had a breakdown and was stuck on the road. I called audi assist who wanted my Insurance information so they could charge the tow truck to them. I called my broken at Westwood for the information. He told me he doesn't know anything about roadside assist and I must call Renasa. I asked him for the contact for Renasa. He said he didnt know,he said to call the office and ask for his collegue who might know. I call the office, voice mail saying office hrs are over, even though office hrs aren't over. I call the consultant back directly, ignoring all my calls. I asked audi to find out from Westwood for me,ignoring all their calls. 3hrs stuck on the road. Eventually I paid for the tow truck out of my own pocket. When I tried to claim back, they want to know why I didnt contact Renasa. When I tried calling back a different day, every person at the office is on lunch, the manager of Westwood took my call, shes eating lokudla while talking to me, didnt even want to listen to me, then transferred me away and put me on hold, and eventually HUNG UP ON ME. Im fed up

Good Day

The client's query was on car hire following mechanical breakdown.

Car hire in terms of the policy is only following and accident or theft/hijack.

The policy does cover towing in respect of mechanical breakdown under the roadside assistance.

The towing must be facilitated through their call centre or a maximum limit of R500.00 will apply.

Management has listened to the telephone recording between client and the staff member at Westwood Insurance and there are descrepencies in respect of the allegations made by the client. The client is welcome to contact the company to discuss the matter.
