Think twice before going here

Please don’t go here. My sister takes care of the stray cats in our yard. And by taking care I mean she spends a huge portion of her income on their food, meds, toys etc. This morning she noticed one of the older cats not looking too well. She rushed the cat to this hospital. I’m not sure what was more traumatic. The vets lack of empathy or the death of the cat. The vet was rude and even went so far as to label her negligent for not noticing the cats illness. Dr Webster, these are stray cats that my sister takes care of.( come home and see for yourself ). My sister just finished a 36 hr call when she noticed the cats behavior. She immediately brought the cat to you. Thank God she didn’t drive to you by herself. She was so distraught by your tone and rudeness that she just broke down sobbing. Without knowing the circumstances , how can you accuse someone of neglect ? These are stray cats that she feeds and takes care of. .. surely when you started berating her you could have seen her demeanor and how utterly devastated she was ? Perhaps understand that for someone to drive all that way so early in the morning after a 36 hr shift the person really cares and is not neglectful. Practice some kindness. Ask instead of assuming.
