Western Union Payment to Hungary

We made a Western Union payment to a friend in Hungary through Absa Online and swopped the name and surname around and he informed us that because of this he cannot collect the money. I phoned absa to change the name and surname around as we could not do this online and we had a very unhelpful lady that said she could not assist us. She said we had to cancel the payment and would forfeit the nearly R1000 service fee and would have to pay that again to do payment again. This is ridiculous!!!
