Your word is not your Bond

I'm beyond disgusted with WesBank service. When I was in arrears I was constantly called for payment and even threatened to. My account is now in advance and I called for a no penalty settlement as I would like to sell my car as I lost my job due to covid. I was advised that I can't get a no penalty settlement as my account is still tagged with legal and that I need to speak to them. I was told by legal that they still need to debit the legal fees of almost R700 which will take a whole month.. Why a month for a debit?

My current capital amount is just a little over R316k yet my settlement is R326k I'm being charged a penalty of R10k which is ridiculous. I called and spoke to Melinda Heneke and she said that she would charge me half the penalty amount and when I called the very next day she told me that her manager said no, What? ... How fair is that? How can your share values be trust and fair play yet you say one thing and another thing in a matter of a day? Do you think that's fair play? What you guys say can clearly not be trusted.

I'm not asking for a reduced capital settlement, all I'm asking for is a no penalty settlement. WHAT'S SO HARD WITH ASSISTING YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH A NO PENALTY SETTLEMENT DURING THESE TOUGH TIMES.
