Young, Black and paying for Veh finance with Wesbank is a trap!

About to finish your installments with Wesbank, be mindful and very careful!!!

I have paying for this account for the past six years and this is my last year. With this last year it seems no matter how up to date you have been with the account they have said to me it impossible to make an arrangement as I was on unpaid maternity leave for 2 months which I really find impossible and this led my account to be under : Banele Mabe and eventually to be assisted by Mthama Tlalane.

Banele Mabe, see the thing about him he is not only rude but is the reason why people who work from home are just an excuse to getting paid for nothing. Under this person I have been paying the account as normal after being back from maternity and submitting emails for follow up with no response. I have been also requesting settlement letters also with no response. This for 3 months. 3 months later following,I make a call to only be assisted by Mthama Tlalane where I explained my situation that not only do I send him emails but I have called to only be told every time that he is on break. Mthama advised that my account has been in areas since which this is the time I started to get the account up to date until now in August. What this means is that, my payment was never acknowledged or seen. Meaning someone has not been doing their job.

But this is frustrating because, he is able to send emails demanding legal fees and yet has not even checked if I have been paying. Also this account is almost done and after Mthama received my proof of payments I have an email her acknowledging they were received and I sent her also my communication I have been sending since to Banele. She told me the account will updated, I have her 2 days and as I am typing this I still have no response.

I have read an article about being black, young and how they make it impossible for you to finishing off debt and this is so true! I have been victim to this, as a paying customer for 6 years and to only find out on my 6th year that it is impossible to have a payment arrangement is appalling, I mean which company does not accommodate naturally unforseen circumstances!

Also if calls are recorded my previous complaint has the people I spoke to who told me there is not payment arrangement at wesbank if your pregnant. Acc will go on areas until you eventually pay it off.

Please call me so I can put this horrid matter to bed, ***
