WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED FROM WESBAN****!!

I cannot express my disappoint for having moved my finance from Absa to Wesbank and my insurance from King Price to Driva Cover.

If I had known at the time what drama I will go through now, I would be happier just to rather have spent the extra R1000pm between King Price and Absa.

Driva Cover

On the 20th of Feb I was in a car accident however I had failed to cancel my insurance with King Price as I did not feel confident that my new insurance was active yet, so I wanted to confirm with Auto & General first, however before I could do this, I ended up in an accident and being dual insured. Auto & General was quick to approve my claim however beyond that it has just been an uphill battle.

I had submitted a cash in lieu form for them to pay out the 50% of the claim to my account on the 2nd of March and was told it would take 3days to reflect in my account. On the 8th of March I called in and it was still not paid into my account, it turns out the consultant that assisted me never loaded my form for payment. The payment was then only loaded on the 9th of March, I was advised it will reflect in my account on Monday 13 March. The money is still not reflecting in my account to date as I was advised by Auto and General that Wesbank needed to provide permission to pay the money into my account. According to A&G the current contract between Auto and General and Wesbank states that any cash that needed to be paid to the customer must be paid to Wesbank first and Wesbank will then pay the cash into the customer's account.

On another note, I had moved my vehicle to my preferred Panel Beater on Thursday 9 March, where this panel beater noticed that auto and general had left off the bonnet from the quote, I then called them on Friday 10 March to report this, the TAT is 48 hours to get back to me, it is now Wednesday 15 March and I had to call them today AGAIN and still they have not provided me with the updated quote.

I have had to use my wedding money just to get the repair of my car started as my car has been with a panel beater since 20 Feb 2017, as the car that I am using in the meanwhile breaks down on a daily basis and I cannot wait any longer.

*PLEASE CAN YOU PROVIDE WRITTEN PERMISSION SO THAT A&G CAN PAY CASH INTO MY ACCOUNT.

Wesbank Private Finance.

I app**** for refinance on the 3rd of Feb 2017, and after a lengthy laborious process I was advised that my claim was settled on the 14th of Feb. On the 2nd of March my account was debited by Absa for my instalment. I had called Absa to query this debit, they confirmed that they had not received a settlement. I called the Wesbank Call Centre straight after and the consultant abruptly said we will investigate not giving me any contexts, no one had gotten back to me regarding this query. I had spent most of my Monday 6 March holding the line trying to get through to the call centre, and those consultants I did manage to speak to could not help me AT ALL As it was back and forth calls between Absa and Wesban**** After much frustration I eventually came through to the Team Leader Rallie Pretorius, on the 7of March, she advised me that I must liaise with Absa to allocate my funds however Absa insisted on a proof of payment which Wesbank could not provide. On the 8th March this was escalated to Mareta Zaaiman, she advised me that I must provide an updated settlement letter (third settlement requested from Wesbank) they will then settle this. I provide this to Mareta immediately after to action. I also followed up with an email on the 9th of March and advised that this settlement needed to be done on the 14th of March otherwise the settlement offer will expire. To date it is not yet settled and I am forced to get a FOURTH Settlement Letter from Absa.

WESBANK AND DRIVA COVER HAS UTTERLY WASTED SO MUCH OF MY TIME, MY MONEY ON CALLS AND HAVE CAUSED ME SO MUCH STRESS, THIS HAS INTERFERED WITH MY WORK, I FEEL LIKE I AM DEALING WITH A WALL!!!!!! THE FUNNIEST OF ALL, I STILL HAVE NO RESOLUTION besides that I have to waste more time again and request a fourth Settlement Letter from Absa!!!!!! I do not know how much longer I can stand this and feel helpless. It is too late to cancel this process now as cancelling now would cost me further funds that I cannot afford. However I am forced now to use other escalation channels such as going to the Ombudsman and other complaint channels.
