Worst *******ion on vehicle finance billing

My mother bought her car in October 2012 and has been paying extra amount of R4070 since 2014 May instead of R2500 planned installment. The money was aimed at reducing the term of the loan (reduce the months). This didn’t happen, the amonth owed instead increased monthly and didn’t reflect the extra amounts paid.

In 2016 May my mother noticed that she was still getting debited as if it’s from Wesbank but when she went to the bank she found out she was paying by “cashman”. This was without her knowledge and she isn’t aware who is taking the amount from her account or who is paying on her behalf.

Last year they came wanting to repossess the car saying she was owing but according the extra amount she had been paying she should have finished paying off the car.

Numerous calls and visits to the bank (FNB) yielded nothing. As of today she is still paying off this car which should have been done.

Please assist us, desperately.
