Why can nobody help? Easy to repossess but difficult to make arrangements.

Two years ago, I had a business with a partner of mine. When we separated part of the separation agreement was the fact that he would continue payments on my car. I subsequently left the business and stupidly took him on his word that this would continue.

Today, at my niece's school I was approached by a repossession agent who said they are looking for the car. Obviously to our surprise we immediately said there was a misunderstanding, the agent was in fact very respectful and let me find some facts. He said that I should make contact with the bank and discuss the issue and arrange something.

SO after getting hold of my previous company and getting a copy of the statement, its come to our attention that the payment had not been made over the period of time. Now, we by no means will not rectify this, but paying 200k now due to an agreement not being held by my previous business partner has left me in a bad situation.

So immediately I contacted Wesbank on ***, which I was on hold for a total of 14mins, after explaining the situation I was told I needed to reach out to the case manager who was part of a collection department, her name being Patricia Mthembu. I was transferred and given the number to call, ***, and after 24 minutes of holding the call, was cut off.

The gentleman who came to repossess has now instructed me to deliver the car to him tomorrow at 2 pm. However, I am attempting to make right with the payments and get an arrangement in place, however, I cannot speak to anyone!

During a time with such uncer*****y surely you would want to help? Especially if I want to commit to making the payments? I depend on my vehicle to work, without it I would be on the street. I can afford the monthly instalments but need to communicate with someone!!!!! I will not be meeting the repo man tomorrow as I am attempting to make an arrangement.
