Westbank deducting money from a settled account
Westbank is **********ly deducting money from a settled account even after their helpdesk as well as their legal department was informed the my vehicle loan was settled and the vehicle written of. Proof was mailed by both ABSA Idirect and myself.

This is the second premium deducted from a settled account. I believe it is fair that both payments plus damages is payed by Westbank especially because proof of settlement was mailed and procedure was followed by myself. Late payments or missed payment are met by fines. The same should apply when Westbank **********ly deducts several payment from a already settled account for a vehicle settled and written of.

Does the same rules apply for individuals and businesses? Why do banks and business get away with ***** and gross negligence? Why are they not fined or why do they not pay for their mistakes. Especially repeated mistakes highlighted by myself to both their legal department as well as helpdesk
Compliments of the new season to you and your family.
We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to investigate your concerns. Your insurance did settle , however used the incorrect reference number which is the reason the payment did not reflect on WesBank`s account. We have since logged for your refund and will monitor until your payment is concluded.
We trust that you find the above in order
Kind Regards,
WesBank
