Wesbank’s Shameful partnership with Motovantage

My partner Thabang financed an Audi A4 through Wesbank and was approached by Motovantagd, ap sham of a company to extend the motor plan who clearly work in partnership with Wesbank and got his details from them. He faithfully paid his premiums and his car developed an issue recently and needed to be taken in for repairs because of a water pump issue. He spoke to Annamarie van der berg. Motovantage first fabricated that the car is over 100k km in mileage, when it’s demonstrably only 87k, and then claimed that the car has missed a service, and THAT is the new reason they are cancelling the plan but Audi confirms that the car has never missed any service. There’s only one explanation, they are trying to avoid honouring their contract and I’ve seen at least one similar report just from that TODAY from this company. This is disgusting and dishonourable.

They even had the audacity to offer to refund his premiums!!! Here’s the biggest outrage, on their final letter they wrote that HE cancelled the plan when it was them who cancelled it. At every turn they have shown themselves to be nothing more than duplicitous ***ards and you MUST NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. We are are approaching the ombudsman with this matter because this is a complete **** and if we can stop one person falling victim it will be enough for us.

Wesbank is secondarily at fault for working with a company like this. Partnering with them gives them Wesbank’s seal of approval and this is not the kind of business you associate with looked like a reputable financial institution
