WesBank Unprofessionalism & Unfairness towards clients
This a review on Wesbank and they unprofessionalism as a financial service provider.
I bought a car in 2017 and they approved to finance me. I lost my job in May 2018 and my retrenchment cover only covered me for six months, thereafter I had to pay and I was only able to pay until July 2019. This caused my account to be in arrears.
I got a job in December in 2019 and started paying the car. Two weeks ago the debt collectors and sheriff came to my home whilst I was at work demanding the car. I then phoned the wesbank office asking why are there people looking for me demanding the car. Prior to this I had communicated to wesbank in January telling them I have a job I will be able to pay the car monthly now can we make debit arrangements, no one got back to me they only sent an email saying they’ve transferred my query to Tsepho Seneo – who did not get back to me and when I called his landline I never got through.
I am now communicating with Bakang Mongale who also does not have answers to all my questions and is not very assisting with my queries instead he says that I should pay the balance of the car and give up the asset and no further arrangements can be made yet I have been paying these past months. He’s been ignoring my calls and not responding to my emails. With proof of communication with the bank and proof that I have been paying these last few months the car is still being demanded for. Wesbank is very unprofessional when it comes to communication with its clients and their agents are unable to assist accordingly. My questions stay unanswered. I am very disappointed as a client and I feel like I am being treated unfairly, that wesbank is being inconsiderate and irrational.
