Wesbank - Transferal NIGHTMARE after paying car off

DEAR SWEET LORD, I have recieved nothing but uphill from wesbank since paying my car off and trying to get it registered in my name. After recieving my transfer papers from wesbank, I tried to get the transfer done on the 10 July 2023 at Goodwood Traffic department, Cape Town where I was most rudely turned away as the settlement (letter of payment) document bore no signature (!). I tried to explain to them that it was the only document I got sent from Wesbank and I simply got told to leave and not to come back without a signed document. Befuddled, I called wesbank on the 11th of July and was informed this was a known issue with the western Cape Traffic department and that I was to return the documents (at my expense via courier) to have the transferal done by wesbank on my behalf, at an additional fee. Even though I felt rather coerced into the arrangement and no other choices were presented, I proceeded to have the document returned via courier, as per the instruction given. I paid the fee they asked for, and sent proof of payment to instructed email. And then I waited. NEARLY A MONTH WENT BY...... My thoughts during those weeks were as follows: Firstly, why were the transfer documents sent to me in the first place if it was a KNOWN issue with western cape? It is plain ridiculous that an entire province is being penalized for some reason us normal folks just aren't privy. Secondly, the fact that I had to bear the expenses of returning the documents to wesbank when clearly they should not have been sent in the first place seeing it is a KNOWN issue is just unfathomable.

And then I get another email on the 4th of August which just goes to prove that no information from past conversations/emails is recorded anywhere and it went like this: Good day Valued Customer,

So now I have to pay to get the documents back as well??????? I just want this to be over with, my license is expiring at the end of August... I called them and guess what, they had NO RECORD of my email converstations or of the PoP's I had sent through. So I sent everything AGAIN now and guess what, all I hear is crickets and the hourglass running out of time for my license. Come On Wesbank, I really had such a high opinion of you but not any more. This is just ridiculous. I am posting on all media channels I can find as calling and emailing is getting me NO WHERE.
